Lauren is a true believer of giving back to her local community and that’s why her favourite kind of events to host are often the charity ones!

Lauren is a patron of The Archie Foundation and has been since 2019. As part of this role, Lauren hosts some of Archie’s biggest events in the north-east of Scotland and raises money for the charity too. One of Lauren’s proudest moments was taking part in a 50 mile walk between Peterhead & Stonehaven which took 2 days, really sore feet and lots of blisters but a huge £20,000 was raised for Cash for Kids as a result.

In addition, Lauren has hosted a Q&A for Maggie’s, hosted charity balls for Befriend a Child and Team Jak as well as appearing as the DJ at a few events too! Lauren is a huge believer in shouting about the North east of Scotland and has been involved with Celebrate Aberdeen now for 6 years, helping at various events as a volunteer but also presenting the annual award ceremony.
